OMIC “Hotline” Most Valued Risk Management Service
Since 1993 OMIC has provided a toll free confidential risk management hotline to respond to policyholder’s liability questions. Policyholders call 800-562-6642, ext. 641 for immedidate assistance.
In 2010 over 1,200 OMIC insureds or their staff contacted the OMIC risk manager concerning a risk management issue. Staff classify the contact into four categories: difficult patient encounters, general liability question, incident report and document review. According to past independent surveys and ongoing Underwriting department surveys, the “hotline” is the risk management service that policyholders value the most.
