Do I have to perform any PRK procedures in order to qualify for coverage of LASIK?

Physicians who perform LASIK must be appropriately certified on the laser. Some laser manufacturers may require as a condition of certification that the physician perform a proctored PRK procedure. Please check with your laser manufacturer to confirm its certification requirements.
