Course Description
Nurses and technicians assist ophthalmologists in surgical procedures in many settings, including hospitals, surgery centers, and offices. They have a vital role to play to ensure that each procedure is performed safely. In this one hour webinar, actual malpractice cases where careful preparation and coordination did not occur will be presented to illustrate the risks to patient safety and the need for safe protocols.
