Our success is a direct result of the support of our OMIC family; policyholders, consultants, employees, and our Board and Committees.

Because of you, we have accomplished these 10 great things:

1. Decreased rates in every state and territory in the United States. National average decrease of more than 12%. Rates have been lowered by nearly 40% since 2005.
2. Declared a 20% policyholder dividend, the tenth consecutive dividend, averaging nearly 20% per year.
3. Successfully lobbied for legislation allowing risk retention groups to write coverage for physicians in Wisconsin. OMIC now offers coverage for ophthalmologists in all U.S. states.
4. Added four new regulatory and cyber liability benefits to standard professional liability policy.
5. Streamlined application process and relaxed requirements.
6. Published several new consent documents in “plain language” to support new Academy initiative.
7. Entered into 52nd educational alliance, now partners with nearly all U.S. ophthalmic societies.
8. Launched online renewal process.
9. Reached 1000 followers on the OMIC Community.
10. Worked with American Academy of Ophthalmology to release new patient education videos.
