We use different CPT codes than the ones listed on your application. Should I include these procedures in my estimated volumes?

Please do. As part of our underwriting process, OMIC evaluates the scope and volume of your practice activities. Because many practices track this data electronically and find it easier and more convenient to run reports to gather the requested information, we have included sample CPT codes (where available) to assist you and your staff in this process. These sample codes provide general guidance, but they may not reflect all possible codes for the listed procedure since new codes are implemented from time to time.

As a result, OMIC’s base rates have consistently averaged approximately 15% lower than multispecialty carriers in the U.S.
