Risk Management Premium Discount for OMIC Insureds

All OMIC-sponsored risk management activities (live seminar, CD, online course) enable policyholders to obtain a 5% or 8% (10% after January 1, 2012) discount, which is applied upon renewal.

OMIC policyholders who are members of specific ophthalmic societies with an OMIC educational alliance currently earn an 8% risk management discount when they complete an approved OMIC risk management event.

UPDATE: This discount will increase to 10% for any approved risk management event occurring on or after January 1, 2012. For some societies, an approved event is any OMIC risk management activity, including live seminars, audioconferences or webinars, PDF or online courses. Certain societies require attendance at a live OMIC-society event, which is usually conducted during the annual meeting of the society.
